Blanch’s is proud to partner with Byron Bay Bluesfest Festival and Brunswick Valley Coaches in providing a number of bus services for the benefit of festival punters. These routes service Ballina, Byron Bay, Lennox Head, and Suffolk Park areas.

Blanch's Bus Company is pleased to announce two exciting new express bus services, running between Byron Bay and Lismore, and return, starting on Monday the 4th of December, 2017. The new services are a joint initiative between Blanch's and Transport for NSW.
The new 640X service is a new express service running between Byron Bay and Lismore via Lennox Head and Ballina (and return). View timetable here.
The new 641X service is a new express service running between Lismore and Byron Bay via Bexhill, Clunes, and Bangalow (and return). View timetable here.
With the foreseeable opening of the roundabout at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Ewingsdale Road, Blanchs Bus Company wishes to advise that all services will resume regular routes as soon as the roundabout is fully operational.
Once again, Blanch's is proud to partner with Splendour in the Grass in providing a number of bus services for the benefit of attendees. These routes service Byron Bay, Suffolk Park, Lennox Head, Brunswick Heads, Ocean Shores, and Mullumbimby areas. The bus information page of the Splendour 2017 website has all the details you need!
Blanch's have been advised that there will be no bus access on to Ewingsdale Road when exiting Sunrise Blvd near Discovery Holiday Park.
All School, Route 637 and weekend Route 640 services will enter and depart Sunrise Beach via Bayshore Drive.
From Bayshore Drive, all buses will travel in a clockwise direction turning right at the Sunrise Blvd (shopping centre) intersection, turn left on to Julian Rocks Drive, then right on to Belongil Crescent, right again on Sunrise Blvd then left back on to Bayshore Drive.
Due to Byron Bay Triathlon road closures the 640 service's departing Byron Bay at 11:50am and 1:35pm to Lennox Head will not travel between Jonson St Byron Bay and Ross Lane via Suffolk Park and the Coast Road. This service will depart opposite Woolworth's Byron Bay and travel via Ewingsdale - Pacific Highway and Ross Lane to Lennox Head/Ballina.
The 640 service's departing Lennox Head at 11:35am and 1:25pm to Byron Bay will travel via Ross Lane - Pacific Highway and Ewingsdale to Byron Bay. This service will not be able to service between Ross Lane - Suffolk Park to Jonson St Byron Bay via the Coast Road.

WEEKEND ROUTE 640 (NORTHBOUND ONLY) CHANGES DUE TO ROUNDABOUT CONSTRUCTION AT THE INTERSECTION OF SUNRISE BLVD AND EWINGSDALE ROAD.
Access from Ewingsdale Road to Sunrise Blvd will not be possible during the roundabout construction period. The revised weekend 640 northbound route will enter at Bayshore Drive, turn right at Sunrise Blvd (shopping centre) intersection and proceed to Belongil Crescent, turn left then left again on to Julian Rocks Drive, right on to Sunrise Blvd then left back on to Bayshore Drive.
