Bus Driver
Be the face Blanch’s Bus Company, as you drive urban, school or charter services for your local community. We have full-time and casual opportunities available. To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, be reliable and available to work a variety of shifts and have an uncompromising approach towards safety.
Ideally, you will hold an MR (or equivalent) licence and the ability to obtain a Driver’s Accreditation before commencing work. While a track record as a capable, qualified driver is always an advantage, we have in-house staff to train new drivers and welcome those who are enthusiastic about joining the industry. Better still, you’ll earn while you learn in our paid training programs.
Maintenance / Mechanic
With a modern fleet of about 50 vehicles, our maintenance teams work together to ensure our buses are ready for their daily commute. Our depots have their own workshops, with positions available for qualified diesel mechanics, and rades assistants. To succeed in these roles, you will have the relevant trade qualifications and safety at front of mind, with experience working with heavy vehicles, and an MR licence (or equivalent), highly desirable. Blanch’s also supports the next generation of maintenance staff through apprenticeships.
Operations
Our operations teams are responsible for the delivery of our services. A precision team, they’re the ones behind the scenes, coordinating our buses and drivers to ensure services are reliable and punctual.
Operational roles include:
- Depot managers
- Operations supervisors
- Schedulers
- Driver trainers
- Charter operations
- Customer Service / Administration
- Cleaners and depot duties
