Blanch’s Bus Company is pleased to announce two exciting new express bus services, running between Byron Bay and Lismore, and return, starting on Monday the 4th of December, 2017. The new services are a joint initiative between Blanch’s and Transport for NSW.

New Express Bus Services Starting December 4!
NEW YEAR’S EVE at BYRON BAY
Daytime services will operate to regular Sunday timetable for all routes.
Additional services as listed below will operate from 7.00pm Sunday 31/12/2017:
ROUTE 1 SUFFOLK PARK (to Bus Zone opposite Woolworths)
Operating between Suffolk Park, Byron Hills Estate & Baywood Chase Estates via Beech Drive only then Byron Holiday Park via Broken Head Road / Bangalow Road to the bus zone opposite Woolworths between 7.00pm Sunday 31/12/2017 and 1.30am Monday 1/1/2018 approximately every 20 minutes at a flat fare of $4.00.
ROUTE 2 SUNRISE BEACH (to Bus Zone opposite old hospital site)
Operating between Arts & Industry Estate, Sunrise Beach Estate, Belongil Fields via Ewingsdale Road to the bus zone opposite the old hospital site on Shirley Street between 7.00pm Sunday 31/12/2017 and 1.30am Monday 1/1/2018 approximately every 20-25 minutes at a flat fare of $4.00.
Buses can be hailed along the route – please signal the driver from locations where it is safe for the bus to pull over and signal clearly (especially at night).
Weekly tickets, Freedom Passes, Weekly Freedom Passes and RED tickets are NOT available for use on these additional services.
We reserve the right to withdraw services if crowd behaviour becomes unacceptable.
Please assist our staff and POLICE by not bringing alcohol on to buses.
POLICE have advised alcohol confiscation may occur in Byron Bay.
BUSES TO LENNOX HEAD AND BALLINA
Buses will depart from the bus zone opposite Woolworths to Lennox Head & Ballina departing at 2.00am for a flat fare of $10.00.

SUNRISE BOULEVARD AND EWINGSDALE ROAD ROUNDABOUT
With the foreseeable opening of the roundabout at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Ewingsdale Road, Blanchs Bus Company wishes to advise that all services will resume regular routes as soon as the roundabout is fully operational.
SPLENDOUR 2017 BUS SERVICES
Once again, Blanch’s is proud to partner with Splendour in the Grass in providing a number of bus services for the benefit of attendees. These routes service Byron Bay, Suffolk Park, Lennox Head, Brunswick Heads, Ocean Shores, and Mullumbimby areas. The bus information page of the Splendour 2017 website has all the details you need!
FURTHER CHANGES DUE TO ROUNDABOUT CONSTRUCTION AT THE INTERSECTION OF SUNRISE BLVD AND EWINGSDALE RD. EFFECTIVE FRIDAY 19/05/17.
Blanch’s have been advised that there will be no bus access on to Ewingsdale Road when exiting Sunrise Blvd near Discovery Holiday Park.
All School, Route 637 and weekend Route 640 services will enter and depart Sunrise Beach via Bayshore Drive.
From Bayshore Drive, all buses will travel in a clockwise direction turning right at the Sunrise Blvd (shopping centre) intersection, turn left on to Julian Rocks Drive, then right on to Belongil Crescent, right again on Sunrise Blvd then left back on to Bayshore Drive.
