New Year's Eve at Byron Bay!

Hi there punters! Blanch’s will once again be running special services to get you safely to and from your New Year’s celebrations in Byron Bay.

Daytime Services

Our daytime services will run to our regular Monday to Friday school holiday timetable for all routes. For Routes 1 & 2 below, please refer to our regular Route 637. For Lennox Head and Ballina, please refer to Route 640.

Evening Services

Additional services as listed below will operate from 7.00pm on Monday 31/12/2018:

Route 1 to Suffolk Park (to Bus Zone opposite Woolworths)

Operating to Suffolk Park, then via Beech Drive to Byron Hills Estate & Baywood Chase Estates and then Byron Holiday Park via Broken Head Road/Bangalow Road to the bus zone opposite Woolworths between 7.00pm Monday 31/12/2018 and 1.30am Tuesday 1/1/2019 approximately every 20 minutes at a flat fare of $4.00.

Route 2 to Sunrise Beach (to Bus Zone opposite old hospital site)

Operating between Arts & Industry Estate, Sunrise Beach Estate, Belongil Fields via Ewingsdale Road to the bus zone opposite the old hospital site on Shirley Street between 7.00pm Monday 31/12/2018 and 1.30am Tuesday 1/1/2019 approximately every 20-25 minutes at a flat fare of $4.00.

Buses to Lennox Head and Ballina

Buses will depart from the bus zone opposite Woolworths to Lennox Head & Ballina departing at 2.00am for a flat fare of $10.00.

Additional Information

Buses can be hailed along the route – please signal the driver from locations where it is safe for the bus to pull over and signal clearly (especially at night).

Weekly tickets, Freedom Passes, Weekly Freedom Passes and RED tickets are NOT available for use on these additional services.

We reserve the right to withdraw services if crowd behaviour becomes unacceptable.

Please assist our staff and POLICE by not bringing alcohol on to buses. POLICE have advised alcohol confiscation may occur in Byron Bay.
